We are thrilled to share that Usina Coruripe, one of the largest producers of sugar, alcohol, and energy in Brazil, has achieved VIVE Claim Level in their first year as a VIVE participant. This confirms their commitment to sustainability and reaching a widely recognized standard. The Brazilian Mill in Iturama, Minas Gerais, has had an exceptional performance in environmental, governance, and health and safety performance, scoring 94% in the Farm Module and 91% in the Facility Module.
Founded in 1925, Usina Coruripe has taken a large focus in sustainability in recent years, investing USD 1 million in socio-environmental programs. Their core value is to produce sugar, ethanol, and energy with security and sustainability, which is reflected in their participation in VIVE and impressive assessment results.
